You may have heard us mention the Riverstone Business Collective (RBC), and we wanted to take a moment to tell you a little more about what we're building. The RBC brings local Riverstone businesses together to connect, collaborate, and support one another while helping make our neighborhood an even more vibrant place to shop, dine, and gather as one community.

Our next big community event is the Riverstone Block Party & Brewfest on Saturday, September 12th, and we're still looking for vendors and sponsors to help make it a fantastic day for our neighborhood. If you're a local business interested in participating, we'd love to hear from you! It's a great opportunity to connect with the community, showcase your business, and be part of this exciting event.

Food & Diaper Drive

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the recent Spokane-area fires. To help our neighboring communities, Vine & Olive and Vicino Pizza are hosting a food and diaper drive to support fire victims assisted by Partners Inland Northwest. Donations of these essential items are greatly appreciated:

Canned Proteins • Grains & Carbohydrates • Canned Fruits & Vegetables • Snacks granola bars, crackers, spices/salt/pepper, cooking oil • Soups & Boxed Meal Kits • Infant & Baby Care diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, formula, baby food/jars/pouches • Laundry & Cleaning • Miscellaneous hand sanitizer, nail clippers, lip balm, travel-sized tissues, cotton swabs

Riverstone Summer Concerts

Due to deteriorating air quality conditions, this week’s Riverstone Concert has been canceled. We look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday, August 13th, at the ICCU Amphitheater for an evening of great music featuring Tucker James and Soul Proprietor.

Be sure to stop by the Riverstone booth while you’re there — we’ll have items from several RBC member businesses to share, plus a chance to connect with some of the local businesses that help make our neighborhood so special. We’ll also be collecting donations for the food and diaper drive.

Bring your friends, grab a blanket or chair, and enjoy a night of live music, community, and all that Riverstone has to offer!

Looking for a midweek outing? The Kootenai County Farmers' Market continues every Wednesday in Riverstone, bringing together local farmers, artisans, food vendors, and neighbors. Whether you're picking up fresh ingredients for dinner, finding a unique handmade gift, or simply enjoying a stroll through the market, there's something new to discover every Wednesday.

Do you love to sip on a relaxing cup of tea and are you looking to step up your culinary game? Anne & Tony Kleimann, owners of The Spice & Tea Exchange, invite you to come visit the store in The Village at Riverstone for a fun & flavorful shopping experience.

The Spice & Tea Exchange has been in operation for over 7 years in CDA. The store has become a great location to enjoy the sights, smells and flavors of teas and spices, as well as honey, sugars, syrups, salts, and olive oils. They offer free tea samples daily and food samples each weekend, as well as a wonderful assortment of hot & iced teas “to go” from our Tea Bar.

Anne & Tony were presented with the opportunity to acquire the store just over 2 years ago, with dreams of making the store an environment where guests feel invited to participate and not just purchase. They continue to work towards accomplishing this goal, and strive to become an integral part of the Riverstone Community as well as contributing to events throughout the CDA/Post Falls/Hayden and surrounding areas.

Future plans and ideas for promoting more community engagement include tea education classes and fun classes focused on easy recipes for making mocktails, appetizers, and matcha drinks. They would also love to hear any other ideas for events that their guests and community would like to share.

The Spice & Tea Exchange is looking forward to participating in the 2nd Annual Riverstone Block Party & Brewfest on September 12th. Last year had a tremendous turnout. Come visit their booth in front of the store for lots of free tea and food samples!

Get ready for the 2nd Annual Riverstone Block Party & Brewfest on Saturday, September 12th! In partnership with the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation, this free community event brings together local businesses, family-friendly activities, food trucks, live entertainment, and a curated tasting experience featuring regional craft beer, cider, and wine. Proceeds from Brewfest wristbands support the beautiful Centennial Trail.
